Patagonia are esthetically pleasing
in their own right, as San Martín de los
Andes. Its alpine – style houses, huts and
cabins whittled lovingly from the surrounding forest.
San Martin is right by Lanin National Park. Few
National parks can compete with the stunning scenery
of Parque Nacional Lanin.
It’s Argentinas third biggest park and boasts
35 lakes, dense alpine forests, the extinct Volcán
Lanín, abundant wildlife, and only 18kms
from Patagonias second biggest ski centre (Cerro
Chapelco).
