Tronador (the only peak with snow all year round).
Finally, after approximately 9kms drive we get to
the unique and famous turning restaurant at the
top of the Cerro Otto, giving you the possibility

During the winter season Cerro Catedral becomes
the main ski resort of South America and during
the summer season people of all over the world enjoy
trekking all the way up to Frey camp. Another option
to take in account is the gravel road that takes
you all the way down and around to the Gutierrez
Lake ending the drive at the Bariloche Center.

The Circuito Chico with its 63kms
distance is another option. If you are in town for
a few hours this is an obligation. Playa Bonita,
Cerro Campanario with its unforgettable view is
going to help you understand better the complicated
geography. San Eduardo Chapel built in the fourtieth
decade, the Llao Llao Hotel, Puerto Pañuelo
with its main lake excursions such us Puerto Blest
and Isla Victoria. The road continues by the López
Bay taking us to one of the main world panoramic
views with the Llao Llao Hotel standing out among
an impressive natural envirement.
At km 36 the possibility is to go to Colonia Suiza.
A small village with typical wooden huts were you
can try the delicious Curanto.
Endless possibilities can be driven in Bariloche.
Monte Tronador and Cascada los Alerces is another
220kms drive. You will come across hidden lakes,
waterfalls, mountain gravel roads and the impressive
Monte Tronador of 3.478 mts high.
